How much does each service cost?

The cost of our services depends on the size, location and amount of employees required to complete the service. Once we have enough details, we will determine a set price to complete the job. Please note, if the details given were incorrect, we will need to adjust our pricing accordingly.


Are you insured?

Yes, we have liability insurance and all employees are covered under WSIB.


Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. We offer flexible one-time services or weekly, bi-weekly and monthly services. The choice is yours!



What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning service, please provide at least 72 hours advance notice to the start time of the booked service. Once we take a reservation, we hold that time open for you and turn away other potential customers in order to ensure your time. Please be courteous and give us as much time as possible to reschedule our services. If you do not give cancellation notice 72 hours in advance, there will be a $150.00 cancellation fee.


How does invoicing and payments work?

Invoices will be sent via email within 2-4 weeks of completing the job. You will have 30 days to pay the invoice once it has been received and can pay through E-transfer or by mailing a cheque.


Do you provide the supplies for each type of service?

Yes, we supply everything needed to complete each job, unless you prefer we use your own supplies and/or equipment.


Do you need to visit my home to give a quote?

For cleaning, we do not need to visit your home to give a quote - we simply ask that you fill out our form under ‘Cleaning Quote’ at the top right corner of our website.

For garden and lawn care, along with property cleanups we will need to visit the property to give an accurate quote but we can typically give a rough idea of pricing once a list of details, expectations and some photographs of the area have been given.

For all other services, we can usually give a rough estimate through email.


What time will you arrive at my cottage?

Our team or single employee will typically arrive between 8:00am to 9:00am depending on your location. If you would prefer we arrive at a more suitable time to your schedule, we are more than happy to discuss options that work for both parties!


What does a surface clean include?

We cater to each clients preference and expectations, but a typical surface clean would include the following:

  • Deep clean of bathroom: Shower, sink, toilet (top to bottom, inside and out), outside of vanity, mirror, dusting remaining surfaces

  • Kitchen: outside of cupboards, stovetop, outside of fridge, inside and outside of microwave, countertops, outside of dishwasher, dusting

  • Dusting of entire home

  • Sanitize highly used areas (door knobs, taps, light switches, etc)

  • Vacuum and mop

Please note: things like windows, oven, inside fridge, laundry, dishes and making beds are all extra services. If you require any of this services, we are happy to add them to the list and adjust the pricing accordingly. 


What does a deep clean include?

We cater to each clients preferences and expectations, but a typical deep clean would include the following:

  • Everything listed under the ‘surface clean’ section directly above

  • Wiping down all baseboards and window/door trim

  • Wiping on top of kitchen cupboards

  • Wiping down fans and lights that you can reach with a three step ladder

  • Windex picture frames and mirrors

  • Cleaning inside oven

  • Clean inside one fridge (if more than one fridge, we will charge accordingly)

Please note things like windows, laundry, dishes and making beds are all extra services. If you require any of this services, we are happy to add them to the list and adjust the pricing accordingly. 


Do I need to be home while the Lakeside team is cleaning?

No, you do not need to be home. It is actually preferred that the cottage is empty while cleaning, as we can make quite a bit of noise and typically have employees dispersed throughout the home while completing the clean.


What do I need to do prior to a clean?

To allow our team to focus on cleaning and avoid any additional charges, we recommend and greatly appreciate if you tidy your space prior to our arrival. This would include things such as washing dishes and putting them away, tidying any toys on the ground or cluttered areas and keeping surfaces tidy to the best of your ability. We thank you in advance for doing this!


Will the same employee being cleaning each visit?

We try our absolute best to have the same employee or team coming in to complete the services, however if an employee calls in sick we will need to send another trusted employee or team to complete the task.
